India extends anti-dumping duty on 304 SS imports

The Indian government has extended anti-dumping duty on imports of hot-rolled flat products of stainless steel 304 series from China, Malaysia, and Korea till December 4, 2020. The duty was first imposed on June 5, 2015, for five years. The duty was imposed in the range of USD 180-316 per tonne. 

The commerce ministry’s investigation arm Directorate General of Trade Remedies vides a notification dated June 3rd said that the anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall remain in force up to and inclusive of the 4th December 2020, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier.”

The principal notification No. 28/2015-Customs (ADD) dated the 5th June 2015, was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 462(E), dated the 5th June 2015.
